Dissidia, the Final Fantasy fighter, is hitting western PSPs later this year. While series spokesperson Tetsuya Nomura says a sequel would be difficult to do, another Square Enix producer thinks differently. Speaking to Final Fantasy Union, Dissidia
director Takeshi Arakawa said the team would "like to make an attempt
to make a sequel." However, that comes with a clause: the game must be
successful when it launches in the US and Europe.
Well, there you go. If you want a sequel, you're going to have to buy the first Dissidia.
Considering it's one of the most anticipated titles on the PSP right
now, we're sure that's not going to be a problem for Square Enix.
